Weeping Moss Bonsai Tree
Vesicularia ferriei
Create a dramatic, flowing aquascape centerpiece with this handcrafted Weeping Moss bonsai tree. Featuring Vesicularia ferriei, this variety is known for its distinctive downward-growing fronds, giving the tree a graceful “weeping” canopy effect similar to a willow tree.
Each bonsai is carefully assembled using natural driftwood and densely attached Weeping Moss, providing an instant, established look. As it grows, the moss develops longer cascading strands, enhancing the elegant, aged-tree appearance.
Why you’ll love it:
- 🌿 Unique weeping effect – natural cascading growth pattern
- 🌿 Pre-attached and established – ready to place in your tank
- 🌿 Adds movement & depth – creates a soft, flowing aquascape feel
- 🌿 Shrimp & fish friendly – excellent cover and grazing surface
Care Requirements:
- Lighting: Low to medium
- CO₂: Not required (but promotes fuller growth)
- Growth Rate: Moderate
- Placement: Midground to focal point
Pro Tips:
Allow it to grow slightly longer before trimming to enhance the signature “weeping” look. Light shaping helps maintain a natural tree silhouette.
