The Minimalist Barrel Harness from Recreational Barrel Works offers a simple, durable solution for securing and handling your 60L or 30L barrel. Designed for paddlers who prefer lightweight efficiency, it encases the barrel 360° in heavy-duty webbing, providing reliable support for hauling, lifting, or securing your barrel during transport - or even hanging it safely in a tree at camp. With multiple lash points, you can easily attach ropes or webbing straps, while four integrated grab handles make lifting your barrel in and out of a canoe, raft, or vehicle quick and convenient. The Minimalist Harness is built without shoulder straps, making it ideal for trips where your barrel is only carried short distances between your vessel and campsite.
It also shines in multi-barrel setups: when portaging with a full pack or another barrel, you can stack and balance a second barrel wrapped in the Minimalist Harness using its built-in top and bottom tether straps. Rugged, versatile, and efficient - it’s the perfect harness for paddlers who travel light but demand dependable performance.
