Kwik-Stop Styptic Powder

For over 40 years, Miracle Care Kwik Stop Styptic Powder has been the industry standard for veterinarians and groomers alike. Kwik Stop quickly halts bleeding from minor wounds and stop bleeding caused by clipping nails at the cuticle area, often known as the "quick.".  This styptic powder uses Benzocaine to numb pain and Ferric Subsulfate to quickly contract blood vessels to stop bleeding.

Professional Directions

Apply with moistened cotton applicator to the cut, nail or other superficial bleeding area using moderate pressure for five to ten seconds. Do not use on deep wounds or body cavities.

Pinch a small amount between the fingers and pack into the exposed nail surface with thumb.
