Rooted in the playboat designs that defined an era, the Dagger SuperNova brings the slicey, surfy soul of classic river play kayaks into the modern age.

The hull draws inspiration from the full-slice boats of the late 90s and early 2000s, updated with contemporary construction and outfitting that makes a real difference on the water. It's built for paddlers who want to surf waves, spin eddies, and throw down moves rather than simply run from put-in to take-out. The SuperNova is sized specifically for larger paddlers, paired with the Nova for smaller paddlers, so each boat delivers genuine performance rather than a one-size-fits-all compromise.

The 2024 and newer models include the Contour Ergo Engage Thigh Brace System, which is worth calling out. Injection-moulded braces with adjustable inner and outer hooks, angle rotation, and included shims let you tune your connection to the boat to an impressive degree. A "less" aggressive hook option suits a relaxed session, while the "more" aggressive hook locks you in for precise control. All adjustments are managed with a single included 4mm hex tool.

The roto-moulded seat adds to the package with fore and aft adjustment, quick-release hip pads, an adjustable backband, and an industry-first ratcheting leg lifter that provides up to 3 inches of elevation for better energy transfer. A safety step-out wall rounds things out, giving you leverage for quick exits and doubling as a portage handle.
