Provide a small songbird a resort-inspired home with this Home Bazaar Charlevoix Stone Christmas Cottage with LEDs. The detailed accents on each side of this ornate roost make it a welcome addition to your holiday décor, looking fantastic either in your garden or on your mantel. A black, pitched roof leads to the square, gray chamber, adorned with river rock for a rustic, natural effect. Red detailing on the faux door, beneath each window, and trimming the roof contrast the rest of the item, and bring a bright hint to your garden. A green, fabric wreath and miniature tree transform this house into a holiday display, finished with a wire holding orange hued LEDs along the roof line. This not only helps define the dual peaks on the roof; it also lends an inviting glow to the unit. Place 3 AA batteries (not included) in the compartment which rests inside the shelter to power the lights. An On-Off switch here allows you to illuminate the unit when you wish, or you can place it on the timer option to automatically light for 6 hours. A gothic arched opening sits at the top of the roost, allowing chickadees or wrens to enter the home and nest comfortably. A ladder below this 1" wide and 1.25" high entry aids fledglings in reaching the exit, and the back panel removes for nest checks or battery changes. Significant ventilation gaps on each side prevent nestlings from overheating, and a bottom drainage hole helps the interior remain dry. Swing the gray, hanging tab upward to place this home against a wall or fence, or attach its flat base to a post or pole for a different effect. The stone and wood construction celebrates the natural world, and the convenient size of the home allows for a variety of fun placement options. Present your favorite cavity nesting bird a beautiful, seasonal roost with this Charlevoix Stone Christmas Cottage with LEDs.

Note: Climate and the elements will weather the Charlevoix Stone Christmas Cottage with LEDs and change its appearance over time; however, weathering will add to the house's natural charm without compromising its function. Should you want to preserve the finish (paint), it is recommended to cover it with several coats of a water-based sealant. You should expect that once left outside, the Charlevoix Stone Christmas Cottage with LEDs will weather and require refinishing.
