CAPRI 50 LED - 40 L

With its Capri range of aquariums, Hydor provides an ideal solution for beginners approaching the world of aquariology for the first time, offering a safe and easy-to-use product. Each aquarium is built in compliance with international standard EN60598-2-11, which is mandatory for CE certification for all aquariums placed on the market.

Characterized by a clean and linear design, the Capri fish tanks, now available in a LED version, have been designed to ensure maximum performance with low energy consumption. The LED lighting system provides excellent color rendering, vibrant tones, efficiency, and reliability, while offering 50% energy savings compared to fluorescent lamps and a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours.

Each Capri aquarium comes with a watertight lid, which is not hinged to the tank and is tested to resist humidity and water splashes. The large front openings allow easy access for maintenance. The Capri aquariums are suitable for both freshwater and marine setups and are available in 40, 60, and 100-liter capacities, in black or white finishes.

The Capri 50 LED model, with a capacity of 40 liters and 4 mm thick glass, is equipped with the advanced Bluwave 01 internal filter, offering dual-action water filtration: mechanical and adsorbent. The mechanical filtration captures impurities and suspended particles, keeping the water clean, while the disposable cartridge with activated carbon granules ensures adsorbent filtration, effectively removing aromatic compounds and colorants for maximum water clarity.

The filter system includes a Pico pump, known for its powerful yet quiet operation and low energy consumption. The intake grids positioned at the top and bottom optimize water circulation, preventing oily film buildup on the surface. Designed for easy installation and maintenance, the Bluwave 01 filter includes suction cups for secure attachment and features a design that minimizes dirt dispersion during cleaning. It also comes fully equipped with filter media.

In addition to the advanced filtration system, the Capri 50 LED aquarium features state-of-the-art lighting with Hydor's 6.5W LED Bar Pro Toplife, complete with a power supply and mounting supports for quick and secure installation. Designed to offer convenience, safety, and a superior visual experience, this LED lamp combines a durable and modern design with advanced functionalities, catering to the needs of both beginner and experienced aquarists.

With its extended light spectrum, it faithfully replicates natural sunlight, promotes healthy plant growth, and enhances the natural blue and red tones of fish and plants. The 120° lighting angle ensures even light distribution, eliminating shaded areas for optimal illumination.

The LED Bar Pro is equipped with an integrated control unit, allowing easy management of advanced lighting functions for a customized lighting experience:

Dimmer: allows you to adjust light intensity based on the specific needs of fish and plants.
Two lighting modes: daylight and nightlight to simulate the natural light cycle.
Integrated timer: three preset options of 6, 9, and 12 hours for precise automatic scheduling.
Sunrise and sunset simulation: a preset function simulates 30 minutes of sunrise when the lamp turns on and 30 minutes of sunset before turning off.

Made with high-quality materials, the LED Bar Pro features a scratch-resistant polycarbonate body, which is durable and easy to clean. With an IP68 protection rating, it is fully resistant to water splashes and accidental immersion, ensuring maximum safety and reliability. The low-voltage operation (24V) provides an extra layer of security.

Lastly, the aquarium is pre-configured for external accessories, featuring special snap-off plugs on the lid, allowing easy installation of an external filter or other equipment.

As an optional accessory, the matching Stand Cayman 50 can be purchased separately. It comes in a black finish and is designed to provide stable support for the tank.
